The launch of ‘ConNEcting for Change’ took place at the Equality North East offices on Monday 26th April. The new network replaces 'NEtWorking for Change' with an even more dynamic approach in connecting people from all sectors to help remove the barriers facing minority groups in employment and entry to employment.
The networks have over 700 members from the Public, Private and Third Sectors and cover all strands of equality. They provide members with comprehensive equality support including information, advice and guidance, training and virtual and physical networking. They bring together – and ‘connect’ - those who face disadvantage with those who can influence and make change.
