After winning the Independent Firm of the Year Award at the North East Accountancy Awards in June, Co Durham based Harlands were delighted this month to receive yet another tribute to their work.
The accolade came at the 2009/10 UK Accountancy Firm of the Year Awards from the chairman of AVN, an association of accountants working to make the UK and Ireland's owner managed businesses the most successful and enjoyable to run in the world.
Speaking on behalf of the judges, AVN Chairman Steve Pipe said, “Harlands are an outstanding firm who are helping to raise the standards of proactivity for accountants across the country. They are going the extra mile in everything they do, and richly deserve their “Highly Commended” award as part of the 2009/10 UK Accountancy Firm of the Year Awards.”
This award is the third to decorate the Harlands awards cabinet, following their previous success at the AVN annual awards, having won two other AVN awards in the last 3 years.
