With the fast approaching new year the police diary scam appears to have raised it's head once more.
That is to say local businesses are being contacted by a third party offering them advertising space in the local police diary.
Where space is taken a proof of the advert is sent along with terms and conditions which have in the past been found to include the following anomolies
The proof is in colour but the extreme small print stats that the final ad is black and white
Spelling mistakes in the terms & conditions,
The company's website is not active,
There is a clause that they could publish the ad in any alternative publication they chose, if the police diary was not printed for any reason.
Please note the caller is a scamer and under no circumstances should the offer be pursued.
