Common Commencement Dates were introduced by the Government to provide business with certainty – cutting down horizon scanning to save them time and money, with key government departments issuing all their changes to Westminster based business regulations only twice a year, on 6 April and 1 October.
What to expect from 1 October 2008
This page offers a snapshot of all the main changes that are expected to come into force on 1 October 2008. It is not to be read as the complete and full list of all the new regulations that might affect business. You should note that “Links” to the Regulation Update part of the site will be added to each section on the CCD Summary page as soon as the Regulation Updates come through.
