On this 2 day course you will learn about the different types and sources of growth finance and the pro's and con's of each. You will work with other delegates on the course to prepare or enhance a presentation of your business case that you will present to a panel of real investors. The panel will offer you constructive feedback on your ‘pitch’. The course includes exploring issues such as:
Why do I need more money in my business?
What are the different sources of money and how do they work?
Grants: where do I find them, how do I get them, who will help me?
Loans: what sort of deal can I expect, under what terms, what are the risks to me?
Equity investors: what are the different types, why does this option sound scary?
How much is my business worth?
Risk: why this is important and what can I do about it?
