Your Business Forum - Promoting growth & prosperity in Sedgefield Borough
YOUR Business Forum operates within Sedgefield Borough and has recently been through a period of change. Part of this change is membership of North East Business Clubs (BCNE), something which we feel is exciting and opens a wealth of opportunities. Our business forum is inclusive and covers all aspects of our local economy within Sedgefield Borough. The rationale behind the change of name was to emphasise that the Forum exists because of the members and to serve the members hence the word ‘YOUR’ rather being linked to a geographical area per say. Sedgefield Borough Council plays a key role in the forum and has been and remains supportive of our aims, objectives and aspirations.
In essence, our focus is to provide value, support and services to our business community at a local level, however, recognise that being part of larger regional network where each club/forum retains its own identity, but achieves value and scales of economy which can’t be realised operating at a parochial level. We aim over the next year to strengthen our value proposition in terms of services, products and events both independently and collaboratively within the wider Business Club network.
